Sperry View had a busy weekend filled with smiles. On Saturday, we hosted a Connecticut Dressage Association schooling show, alongside a Pony Club Dressage Rally organized by the Sleeping Giant Pony Club. Sunday brought our Spring-rated dressage show, rounding out a full and successful weekend.

Across both days, our riders enjoyed wonderful rides with their four-legged partners, showcasing hard work, partnership, and progress.

The biggest highlight of the weekend was watching the Pony Club riders compete aboard our beloved school horse, Lassie. As she prepares for her next chapter at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, Inc., it felt especially meaningful that, during her final event with us, she carried Pony Club riders and celebrated the joy she has brought to so many who adore her.

Our first Schooling Jumper Show turned out to be a beautiful day! We saw many faces, new and old, who were smiling ear-to-ear. The day wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers. Thank you to everyone who made the day possible.

Our Sperry View crew put in many impressive rounds given how badly winter took practice days from us.

- Arnie and Axle cruised around cross rails and even moved up to our 18” division.
- Lily and Moe were champions of the 2’-2’3” division.
- Jules and Oliver put in some great work in a very competitive division.
- Stefanie and Ronnie were the division champions of the 2’3”-2’6” division.
- Rachel and Dublin took home the High Point Low Jumpers TIP Award
- Molly and Bene were the Junior High Point TIP rider of the day
- Jen and Opie cruised around 2’6”-2’9” and made a come back in the 2’9”-3’0 division
