If you're around my kiddos and I enough you know I'm pretty hard on them. In fact Allie Hunter Venne tells me often I'm too hard 🤣 well all three of them went off pattern the first event. So we pow wowed regrouped and they were told they had one event to redeem themselves or they were walking the rest of the playday. Now, if eye daggers could k!ll I'd be a goner 🤣 I drill it into them slow and steady will win over fast and wrong.
It was far from any of their bests but each had personal wins today that I'm so proud of.
Hadlee struggled with her mare and when she tried to run her out the arena her last event she grabbed her nose and turned around.
Little Savannah went without her mama and was fully in my care and was 90% self sufficient.
Hailey trotted more than she has in a long time.
It was so hot and they did so good. They remembered big rules... no touching noses and no sharing buckets.
