Horseback riding lessons for youth (3 and older) and adults. On your horse or my 18 year old quiet and experienced mare. Lessons are focused on learning solid horsemanship and safety skills and are geared towards a rider's goals (pleasure riding, horse knowledge, ownership and care, horse judging, trail riding, packing, dressage, jumping, hunt seat, saddle seat, 4-H, Western, reining, ranch horse,
roping, working cow horse, cutting, sorting, etc.) Located just West of Berthoud off CR 4 and CR 23E. Small and private facility with an outdoor arena, trail course, and open space. Limited paddock boarding with pasture turn out. Horse training and exercising also provided including starting young horses. Instructor and Trainer, Nicolette, has been riding and caring for horses her whole life. She began showing horses at 10 years old in 4-H and trained her first horse from birth to show starting at age 12. She graduated from William Woods University with a degree in Equestrian Science (Riding Instruction) and from Colorado State University with a degree in Animal Science, Equine Nutrition. She served as a 4-H agent for Boulder County for 5 years supporting volunteers and educating youth in horse, dog and livestock projects. She began teaching lessons at her own facility in 2014 and is currently completing her certification as an instructor in Therapeutic Riding.
