Last weekend the Dry Brook crew headed out to Cobleskill NY for the first NERHA show of the season!
It was super cold and rainy but we sure did have a good time:

Smooth Little Rey and Faythe Sobieski won belt buckles in Youth Reining, Youth Boxing and Novice Youth Trail. They also were Novice Youth & Youth Champion for high point weekend.

Right Lane Smarty and Sarah Noble won Amateur Reining belt buckle.

Snahzie Baleys Rebel and Abby Ortiz won the Amateur Cow Horse belt buckle, Amateur Cattle High Point and was Overall Grand Reserve Mare in halter.

Dream On Top Gun and Holly Shockro won the All Age Open Reining belt buckle.

Nu Flying Cowboy and Caroline Field won the WT Tracking and WT Boxing belt buckles and WT Champion for high point weekend.

LK Dunnit Twist Shine and Aubrey Shockro won the WT Ranch Riding and WT Reserve Champ for weekend high point.

Not only did this crew have some great achievements showing but also lots of growth in the cutting pen and learning how to turn back and be corner help!
Thank you Abby Lisa Laura Sarah and Ellen for staying up late to help me have successful runs!

Last week we had the opportunity to work with some students from the Franklin County Tech School! They were able to get hands on with some horses here at Dry Brook and Mackenzie gave a wonderful presentation on equine digestion! What a great experience for these students! 🤠

Week 2 July 14th-18th
Ages 5-13 years old. Camp runs 9:00am-3:00pm Mon-Fri $600 per week! Call with questions!
