It's that time of year when we need to pay attention to the heat and our pets. Please be aware that cooling off a pet that is overheating with ice water can make it worse. This causes vessels to contract quickly which delays cooling. Use room temperature water and seek veterinary care immediately.
Also, don't forget the water in your hose can be burning hot. Be sure run the water until it is cool before using it on you and your loved ones. Have a safe and cool ❄️ summer. ☀️ 🥵🌡
