Did you know that Nubian dairy goats, one of the most popular dairy breeds in the United States, are known for producing rich, creamy milk with a high butterfat content? Their milk is not only nutritious but is also used to make a variety of products including artisan cheeses, yogurt, ice cream, caramel, lotions, and handcrafted soaps.

A healthy dairy doe can produce impressive amounts of milk throughout her lactation, making dairy goats an important part of farms both large and small.

This role is not only important to the clinic but plays a huge part in our community by supporting our clients and patients through quality care.
As a Customer Care Representative, we appreciate the value of teamwork, communication, and follow through for our patients and clients. At East Holmes Veterinary Clinic, we're proud to celebrate the hardworking dairy animals that help feed families and support our local farming communities every day.

Did you know? A healthy dairy cow can drink up to 50 gallons of water per day and may produce around 6 to 7 gallons of milk daily! That's why proper nutrition, routine veterinary care, and excellent herd management are so important to keeping dairy animals healthy and productive.

Whether it's dairy cows, dairy goats, or the farmers who care for them, we thank you for your dedication and commitment to agriculture.
