💛🐾 A big THANK YOU and an even BIGGER congratulations to Judy & Dan! 🐾💛

Judy & Dan recently made a monetary donation to the rescue in lieu of traditional wedding favors, and we are so incredibly grateful for their support. 🥹💖

They adopted Barkley (formerly Wooder Ice) almost a year ago and have been supporters of our rescue ever since. Earlier this month they tied the knot 💍✨ and shortly afterward welcomed Oscar (formerly Bert) into their family as well! 🐶🐶💙

It means so much to us when adopters continue to support our mission and help us save more dogs in need.

🐾💙 Oz & Miller made fast friends at the market yesterday! 💙🐾

These two handsome boys had a blast hanging out together and quickly became buddies. 🐶🐶✨

🌈 Oz is a 4-month-old small breed puppy who loves other dogs, cats, and kids. He’s crate trained and working hard on housebreaking.

🐾 Miller is a 5-month-old Border Collie who also LOVES dogs and kids! He’s crate trained and doing great with housebreaking as well.

Both boys are looking for forever homes and would love to find their families soon! 🏡💖

Miller our 5-month-old Border Collie puppy tagged along with his foster family for an ice cream outing and was quite the show stopper! 😍🐶

And can we talk about that ear?! One of his ears is finally starting to stand up and somehow he’s gotten even cuter. 🥹💙

Miller is crate trained, working on housebreaking, and loves all people and other dogs. He’s a smart, fun puppy who is ready to find a family of his own! 🏡✨

Effective June 1st, our adoption fee will increase from $450 to $550. Any applications submitted prior to June 1st will still be honored at the current $450 adoption fee.

We wanted to be transparent about this change and explain why it’s necessary. In the last 10 years we have not raised our adoption fee despite the rising cost of veterinary care, supplies and overall rescue expenses. At the same time, we have also seen an overall decrease in public financial support and donations, making it even more challenging to cover the growing costs of rescue work.

Before any dog is adopted from us, they are fully vetted. This includes:• Spay/neuter• Microchip• Vaccines• Deworming• 4DX snap test• Monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention

The cost of providing this level of care is well over the adoption fee itself. In addition to medical care, we also fully supply our foster homes with everything they need to care for our dogs including food, crates, bowls, collars, leashes, toys, bones and more.

Our goal has always been to provide our dogs with the best care possible while properly preparing them for success in their forever homes. This adjustment will help us continue doing exactly that.

We appreciate everyone who continues to support our rescue and the dogs we work so hard to help.
