It's National Alaskan Malamute Day! We love our gentle giants! We are also posting to update everyone that we have decided not to breed Kenai again, and have had her spayed. We have put a lot of thought into this decision, and while we love the puppies and being a part of their first months of life and watching them grow with their new families, we have decided that (after 12 wonderful litters since 2004) we are going to focus and continue to spoil and enjoy our own babies. Summit and Kenai were the best parents, and we have loved the opportunity to love these little babies to pieces and will cherish all of the memories!

********HELP NEEDED********
This beautiful, sweet girl, Luna, is the daughter of our Summit and Kenai, born December 27, 2024. We are looking to rehome her, at no fault of her own. Her loving human mom unfortunately cannot keep her due to unforseen medical reasons that keep her away from home for long periods of time. She wants the best for Luna, as do we. Luna is potty trained, but still uses potty pads when she is alone for a longer period of time. She is learning to play catch, loves belly rubs, gets along with other dogs as long as they aren't aggressive, and loves to be with people, though shy at first. We are helping to rehome Luna to a loving home that can give her the attention she needs. Please send me a private message if you are interested, or if you know someone who would give this girl the best life, which is what her human mom wanted to do for her. Serious inquiries only! 8 weeks old! Where did the time go?! These two are thick as thieves. It is a bittersweet, as they get ready to go to their separate forever homes, but they have only known each other. We love them, and have loved watching them grow and learn. Their new families are so lucky to get such amazing, sweet, loving babies!

7 weeks old! They had their first car ride, and vet visit. They were the stars of the show. Sakari weighs just over 16lbs and Kova weighs 14.5lbs. They are legitimately the biggest puppies out of all my litters! They love the snow, and love to play with everyone. They are so smart, hopping in and out of their whelping box to use the p*e pads. They follow us around everywhere and love learning.

These two are 6 weeks old already! They are so fun! Every day they learn, try more, get smarter, and more mischievous! They play with mom and dad now, Kenai loves it, Summit tolerates it. Lol They have learned how to get out of their whelping box, so the half door is now permanent. Sakari is still looking for her forever home! Share, message me, let everyone know! She is a doll!

These sweet loves are 5 weeks old! They are so playful, mischievous, and adorable! They are getting so big!

Where has this month gone?! These loves are 4 weeks old already! They have their little teeth, and are chewing everything, they are walking, playing, and getting better at howling!

These loves are 3 weeks old this past Friday! They are absolutely the cutest, sweetest "littles" and their cuddles are the best! They are getting more adventurous and are getting the walking thing down pretty fast!

2 weeks old!! Where is the time going?! Kova and Sakari both have their eyes open, and they have been trying to howl! Time to explore their new world! They are literally the best snugglers.

These sweet, sweet little loves turned one week old on Friday. They are growing so fast! We "named" them Kova and Sakari. If you don't know the history of the Alaskan Malamute, the Northern Inuit tribe raised them for everyday life and work thousands of years ago. Kova means strong, and Sakari means sweet in the Inuit language. Sakari is still available!

Happy Woo Year! These sweet babies are 5 days old today!

Our sweet Kenai had her sweet babies late last night. It was a night filled with tears of joy and sadness. Her two perfect babies are a precious girl and a boy.
I must say, in all my years of breeding, I have never had to experience loss until last night. It is heart wrenching to say the least.
What is important, is that Kenai and her two babies are doing great, she is a great mama!
We have all been too exhausted today for pics, I will post individual ones very soon!
