📢 Microchipping Saves Pets – Now Included with Spay/Neuter! 📢

As of August 1 ,2025, every pet we spay or neuter will also get a microchip—because in our rural community, it can make all the difference. 🐾

🐶 Why it matters here:
• In rural areas, pets can wander far and be found miles from home.
• Collars and tags can fall off—but a microchip is permanent ID.
• Shelters, rescues, and veterinarians can scan it to reunite you with your pet faster.

🐾 Why we do it during spay/neuter:
• Your pet is already under anesthesia, so they won’t feel the quick injection.
• It’s safe, simple, and sets them up for a lifetime of protection.

Because every pet deserves a ticket home. ❤️

Registration is open for our fall spay and neuter clinic that will be held on August 23rd. We will have three different time slots available so be sure to note what slot you sign up for. After registering you will need to circle back here to the zeffy link and pay your deposit to hold your spot. You will also receive a confirmation email from us so keep an eye on your inbox and spam for that! The email doesn't automatically send so don't panic if you don't see it right away. Links will be removed as time slots are filled.

Our Story

Dr. Elise and Owen met while attending Dordt College. She attended Iowa State for Veterinary school while Owen received his masters degree in educational leadership from Dordt College. They got married during Vet School and added some new family members along the way. When Dr. Elise graduated they decided to come back to her home town of Beresf0rd to take over an existing Veterinary practice and create it into their own. Owen has since traded in his grade book to take over as office manager but not his whistle and coaches football for the Watchdogs.
