If your pet is needing their monthly heart worm preventions, we require an up-to-date wellness exam as well as yearly heartworm screenings.

BIG ANNOUCEMENT HERE AT BETSIE RIVER 🎉🐾

We are happy to announce that for the first time in over a year we are going to be open 5 days a week for sick appointments and wellness exams!! Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.

We have welcomed Dr. Soderberg DVM, and Dr. Benson DVM to our clinic at the beginning of April. Some of you may remember Dr. Soderberg from having scheduling specialty ultrasounds with your pets here at BRVC. Now we are lucky enough to have her here every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm! Dr. Benson is here on Thursday and Fridays over the next few months as well. She was here at BRVC late last summer/fall, and we are so thankful she able to come back and help our team out this spring/summer! Both doctors hold a vital role in providing the upmost top-notch care for your pets.

Dr. Daly is still at Betsie River Veterinary Clinic and is still our full time DVM, but it's been a very long year of being the solo doctor for our clinic. She truly is amazing, and we are so happy to be able to let her relax while taking some days off here and there. We are thankful she has some help at the clinic because we know she most definitely deserves it 🐾

We want to thank all of the community for your patience over the last year while we have only had one DVM providing care for all of your pets. We know it has been trying when your pet is in need of emergency care, or a same day sick visit, and that sometimes were unable to provide your pet same day care due to a full schedule and staffing. Please know it was as hard for us as it was you. We have a wonderful team that would work night and day to care for your pets, but we do have to have limitations and rules in place to make sure our team does not burn out mentally, emotionally, and physically.

With the summer months approaching quickly please take some time a review your pets records and give us a call and schedule their needed appointments. Summer months bring home all of the " snowbirds " as well as the vacationers. We want to make sure we can accommodate everyone in a timely manner.
