🐾 Doctor Spotlight: Dr. “Mac” McLaughlin 👩‍⚕️

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Dr. “Mac” McLaughlin, one of the experienced and compassionate veterinarians at Northwest Arkansas Animal Urgent Care. 💙

Dr. Mac graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981 and has spent more than four decades caring for animals and the people who love them.

After practicing in Colorado for several years, she made Arkansas her home and has worked in a variety of veterinary settings, including:
🐶 Small animal practice
🐴 Mixed animal medicine
🚑 Emergency veterinary care

These days, her large animal work is mostly reserved for her own small herd of horses, who share their home with three cats and two dogs.

Over the years, Dr. Mac has had the privilege of caring for countless pets and building relationships with wonderful families along the way. Her experience, dedication, and genuine love for animals make her a valued member of our team.

If your pet needs to be seen today, you’ll be in excellent hands with Dr. Mac. 🐾💙

Our team at Northwest Arkansas Animal Urgent Care goes through a lot of towels and blankets while caring for our patients, and we’re running low!

We are currently accepting donations of:

🐾 Gently used or new blankets

These items help keep our patients comfortable, warm, and clean during their visit
with us. 💙

🥽🐾 Our laser therapy assistant for the day is modeling the safety goggles perfectly. 🐾🥽

At Northwest Arkansas Animal Urgent Care, we offer red light laser therapy to help support healing and comfort in pets dealing with conditions such as:
