It was my fault... I should have known better than to bring pure Bread Yorkies.

A day off from trimming hair to work on the books and return phone calls..
but I keep getting distracted by the Birds and the Bees..

You all know Bumble Bee Bunny.
Meet Val, our new addition is a baby Diamond dove that I grew in an old flower pot. Val hatched on Valentine's Day. It was always a dream of mine to have diamond doves, I got three last year for valentine's day. Sateen, Ludo And Pookie.
Ludo and Sateen made the little diamond seed that sprouted Val.
I guess you could say I'm a fortunate soul... I mean do you know anyone else that can grow diamonds in Terracotta pots?

Where it all began.. I was 5'10", and only 12 years old when I walked into her grooming shop and asked for a job. I just wanted to work with animals. I already had a job at a farm but it was 10 miles from home, so if I couldn't find a ride i had to take the bus, then walk the extra 4 miles that the bus didn't run.
I remember the first time i saw her, she was working on a big black chow. I was shy, But i confidently told her that I was a hard worker, and she wouldn't regret it. So she gave me a job.
Later on in life she told me that she didn't want to hire me, and she really didn't need me, but she did because she saw that I needed her. How True that was. My life would be unrecognizable without her. She helped me through my hardest times and help mold me into who I am today. She taught me to believe in myself. In fact that was the last thing she ever told me.. was to believe in my myself. Even though I was never little.I will always be her little girl, because she could see what everyone else failed to see, she could see what was inside of me. I was not a grown up, I was tall and I was strong, and I worked hard... but I was a scared little girl, and I did need her so much more than she ever needed me.

Over a decade ago I took a picture of Ruby giving Max a kiss..
Max passed away years ago, and Ruby got a new best friend named Rigby. I took this photo last week of Rigby and Ruby. . Now Ruby is an old lady and Rigby is delivering the goodbye kisses.

She's had a good long life, and she may surprise us and live for a few more years, it's happened. You never know what the future holds.
It's sad that they can't live longer, but we only get them for a portion of our lives.
I can look back and remember the different struggles and joys I went through in life, and what dog was there to snuggle with when I needed love.
The ones we love, our pets and our people, Love them today, because tomorrow is unpredictable, but don't look towards the end, instead be thankful for today. And if yesterday's memories put a tear in your eye, wear that tear with a smile, and be thankful for the time you had.

Today Bumble bee spilled his water, and this was how he told us his dish was empty. He put the dish in his liter box, then pushed his liter box out the door so we would see it was empty. My rabbit is smarter than my dog.
