Silver is a project horse. He stands wonderfully for baths, grooming, and tacking. He stands excellent with light sedation (~3cc of Ace) for the farrier. He lunges, loads, and stands tied. He has great showmanship skills and has done in-hand trail classes. He has had 6 rides but needs desensitizing and worked before being mounted. He is a project and extremely green. Video will be posted in comments! More upon request!

Another year has gone by since my last post! I’m in my junior year so it’s been crunch time since I apply for vet school in 1 year! I have been insanely busy - working, school, lessons, and training! Over the summer I shadowed at a small animal clinic and I learned a lot. This year I’m assisting in a biology department research project as well as taking on a couple other roles, AND teaching lessons on my work days. I miss working with clients so much and I look forward to doing it again after vet school!! Enjoy a huge photo dump from shadowing, school, work, and summer!

Long time no post! I have been insanely busy and not taking on new clients at this time because of school! Talking about mustangs today for a class presentation made me think I should post! I am currently hired on at a ranch to train yearlings there and help out with horses that need ridden as they come up from the fields or anything like that. My first full semester back to school and I’m trying to not overwhelm myself! But don’t worry, I’m still messing with my mustangs at home! I post more regularly on my TikTok 💛 The first picture I’m sticking my arm in a rumen window of a cow 😄

Rip Rip the Potato Chip had his debut at the Perry County Saddle Club in the obstacle course this past Saturday. He did so great! Unfortunately, the long lines were too many cues at once with the new place and new information that I had to lead him thru instead of using the lines but he did so good and made his papa proud. I was super excited that his parents were able to come and see how he was doing! 💛

My first post in a hot minute. Special request from gma Meem to upload a video. Spring semester is over, summer classes began, days are longer! This summer will be focused on starting this heifer of a little mustang and starting this weekend I will be tuning up and training a Mule for 30 days. I’ll post as often as I can between school, work, and training! 💛

Tag removal selfie of course!

01/20/2022

❄️Girlfriend❄️ has made a full recovery in her back feet and has since been brought back into full work now that she doesn’t have to take it easy. As you can see, she took her halter off but I’m going back to fix our relationship since she has gotten more rambunctious with her no longer being crippled. We ended this session with tag removal since she’s here to stay and she was nodding off while I detangled her mane again. Now that she is stress free from her feet, she’s ready to gain weight and put on some muscle! I have had a few people interested in Girlfriend. If you are still interested be sure to send me a message!

I have decided to call her ❄️Girlfriend❄️ since I’m sure her future new owners will call her something special to them lol BUT look who got haltered! We also had her tender back feet assessed by my farrier and I hope to have her on the mend very soon!! Now that the halter is on we start the real work 💪🏽

Yesterday I let ❄️Girlfriend❄️and 💛Liberty💛 have a break so I will post this video from over the weekend of 🔥Phoenix’s🔥 third ride. This was her first time being at my other grandpa‘s place and in the arena and I think she handled it really well! Her head was up higher than it is at home because she was looking around so I hope the more we work here the more she will relax to her normal self. I will also be transitioning her into a bit.

Liberty stood tied while I cleaned her stall. We worked a little on respecting my space and some flag work on her legs. Her previous owner had issues with her kicking and not respecting the farrier so we are working on that right away!
