Against the Wind Vizslas This page is used to provide information about our Vizslas. I particularly enjoy using it to keep with our puppies over the years.

We are a Vizsla family that for the last 25+ years have been dedicated to producing great Vizslas. We define "great" as the ideal pet/companion that also has tremendous prey drive and athleticism. Our dogs live with us and are hunted and participate in horse back field trials. We have been fortunate to have won numerous National Field events proving the field ability of our dogs. More importantly

however is that we are constantly getting affirmation from happy families that make our puppies part of their family.

Just a reminder that 75% of the time you’ll ever get to spend with your kids, it’s over by the time they turn 12.

And 90% of your time with them is gone by the time they’re 18.

So slow down, be present, and enjoy these short, sweet years.

And when you get a chance to take your daughter camping - GO! 😍

Elvis was our rescue that found his way into our lives and hearts. In our Vizsla world he trained every puppy and approved any puppy home. In time he rescued us and taught patience, love and loyalty.

As the days pass we will forever have memories and the grief will be replaced with smiles. Right now the grief comes in waves as those seeing this know from experience. Elvis has left the building.
