Poppy, Anna, and Elsa, went to their new homes last night. Their new owner let me know that they are settling in well.

It always means so much to me when the new owners send pictures and let me know the goats are well and happy. 🥰

Down to 3 goats left. Happy-sad day here. But they have gone to great homes!

After 5.5 years, we have decided to say goodbye to the farm life. The goats are currently up for sale and going to wonderful new homes. The chickens, ducks, and cats will likely not be replaced as they pass on.

It has been a wonderful journey with the animals I have loved so much. We had always agreed to live my dream first and, when the time came, we would end it to live my husband's dream. The time for him has come; he dreams of travel and, sadly, we can't afford both dreams. He has always been selfless in caring for us. It is my turn to return the favor.

Momma hen has moved her brood of 5 babies from the goat barn back to the chicken coop. I am sad about this as I loved being able to keep tabs on them twice a day. But it is good for them to all be with their chicken family.
