Hyvee was found in Elwood with a severely injured rear leg. It was amputated yesterday and he's doing well - learning how to balance and use his litterbox. He's a big guy 1-2 years old. He'll be up for adoption in about 10 days.

Spark almost got run over by a lawnmower. Poor little girl had badly infected eyes (too sad to show a picture) and just a spark of life left in her. We built up her strength for a couple of days and then she had an enucleation (both eyes removed). Once she's healed she'll be up for adoption. Blind cats are surprisingly nimble!
