Kindness shows itself in all forms. 🖤

Today, two big tattooed biker dudes showed up at the café carrying this tiny baby in a bucket. They had found the kitten crawling around in a worksite dumpster near Tumalo and couldn’t stand the thought of leaving it there (mama was nowhere to be found).

Normally, we don't intake here at the cafe, but with it being a holiday weekend and resources limited, we made a small exception for this little one.

Tonight, my kids are absolutely thrilled to play temporary foster parents. Tomorrow, “Dusty” will head to the vet and then into foster care until he or she is old enough to be adopted through CCREW. 🐾

A reminder that compassion doesn’t always look the way you expect it to. Sometimes it shows up in leather jackets carrying a kitten in a bucket. ❤️

🎉After 125 days, our sweet Brinlee has finally found her furrever home! We will miss her grumpy meows and happy, playful disposition, but we are SO excited for her and her new family.🎉
