Hi friends! We wanted to share an important update about James and the state of the farm.
As some of you know, James recently suffered a serious knee infection that required surgery. Thankfully, the surgery went well, but his recovery will take time. His knee is immobilized, and he’ll need several weeks of antibiotics and physical therapy to fully heal. We’re grateful for the amazing care he received and for all your well wishes.
Even with this setback, we’re pushing forward with relocating the farm to our new farm land and are hard at work with the following tasks:
-Preparing an area for our chickens at the new property
-Deconstructing and rebuilding our greenhouses
-Moving farm materials like drip irrigation, tables, and shelving
-Digging and potting up perennial plants (berries, herbs, asparagus, comfrey)
-Harvesting and relocating crops, T-posts and fencing removal after FYP over the next few weeks.
We need your help to make this happen! Please sign up for our work parties via the Signupgenius link on our GoFundMe page.
If the current time slots don’t align with your schedule, feel free to reach out—we may be able to accommodate other times.
We’ve shared the full story on our GoFundMe page. Click the link in our bio to read more and support us in rebuilding Cultivate Farms. 💚
Thank you for your continued support!
