Benbrook Stables Horse Camp

Benbrook Stables Equestrian Camp focuses on a fun, hands on experience with horses, to give children a full understanding of horsemanship.

Kids ages 5 and up will spend a fun filled day learning all about horses on a working horse ranch. Our campers will spend each day riding with our wonderful instructors while also getting hands on instruction in grooming, bathing and tacking up. They will also learn about safety around horses, proper nutrition and maintenance, anatomy and much more. We also have a lot of fun activities in store fo

r everyone. Some days we will go on hayrides, go on hikes or dig for fossils and even play equestrian related games. We do arts and crafts and lots of other fun activities.

🐴☀️ July 20–21, 2026—Our Final Summer Horse Camp Recap! ☀️🐴

That’s a wrap on our final horse camp of summer 2026 at Benbrook Stables!

Over two exciting days, our campers experienced life at the barn through riding, grooming, bathing horses, learning about tack and horse anatomy, and practicing important horsemanship and safety skills. Each activity gave them an opportunity to learn, grow, and become more confident around horses. 🤠✨

The fun continued with hayrides, crafts, games, and plenty of time spent making new friends who share the same love for horses. 🚜🎨❤️

It was wonderful watching each camper build confidence, develop new skills, and create special connections with our horses. We are so proud of everything they accomplished!

Thank you to all the campers and families who made our 2026 summer camps so memorable. We loved spending the summer with you and hope to see everyone back at the barn soon! 🐎🌞❤️

🐴✨July 13–15 session officially wrapped up our final Riding Academy of the 2026 summer season!

Campers spent three exciting days developing their riding skills and learning about feeding, grooming, saddling, horse safety, and responsible horse care. 🌾🤠 It was wonderful watching their confidence and knowledge grow each day.

We are so proud of everything these young equestrians accomplished and grateful to everyone who made this summer’s Riding Academies so special! 🐴❤️✨

🐴✨ Riding Academy July 6–8 🐎❤️

Another incredible week of Riding Academy is in the books! Our campers spent three days immersed in the world of horses, learning what it truly means to care for and ride these amazing animals.

From feeding, grooming, and tacking up to improving their riding skills in the saddle, each camper gained hands-on experience and valuable knowledge about horse ownership, safety, and responsibility. 🌾✨

Watching their confidence grow throughout the week was so rewarding, and we are incredibly proud of all they accomplished. We can't wait to see these future horsemen and horsewomen continue their equestrian journey! 🤠🐴❤️

🐴☀️ June 22–24, 2026 Summer Horse Camp Recap! ☀️🐴

Another amazing week of horse camp is in the books at Benbrook Stables!

Over the course of three fun-filled days, our campers immersed themselves in the world of horses while building confidence, learning new skills, and creating unforgettable memories. From grooming and bathing horses to learning about tack, horse anatomy, safety, and riding, every day brought new adventures and hands-on experiences. 🤠✨

Campers also enjoyed hayrides, crafts, games, and plenty of time making new friends who share their love of horses. 🚜🎨❤️

One of the best parts of camp is watching our young riders grow in confidence and develop meaningful connections with the horses they work with throughout the week. We are incredibly proud of all they accomplished and thankful to the families who chose to spend part of their summer with us.

Thank you for another wonderful week of camp. We loved having each and every one of you at the barn and can't wait to see what adventures the rest of the summer brings! 🐎🌞

🐴✨ Riding Academy June 15-17 🐎❤️

One of our favorite weeks of the summer went off without a hitch! Do you have a child who dreams of owning their own horse?

Riding Academy gives them a firsthand look at the responsibility, love, and hard work that comes with it.

Campers spent the week learning to feed, groom, tack up, and of course… ride! 🎉 They also learned important lessons in horse care, safety, and what it truly takes to be a great horse owner.
We’re so proud of these young riders and can’t wait to welcome the next group of future cowboys and cowgirls! 🌾🐴

🐴🌞 June 8–10, 2026 Summer Horse Camp Recap! 🌞🐴

What an incredible week at Benbrook Stables! Our June 8–10 campers spent three action-packed days learning, exploring, and making memories with their new four-legged friends. 🤠🐎

From the moment camp began, campers jumped into hands-on activities that taught them the basics of horse care and horsemanship. They practiced grooming, saddling, horse safety, and learned how to confidently work alongside horses both on the ground and in the saddle. ✨🪣🐴

When they weren't riding or working with horses, campers enjoyed hayrides, games, crafts, and plenty of laughs with new friends. 🚜🎨🎯❤️

Seeing each camper grow more comfortable around horses and gain new skills throughout the week was truly rewarding. We are so proud of all they accomplished and grateful to our camp families for being part of the Benbrook Stables family.

Summer adventures are just getting started, and we can't wait to welcome our next group of campers! ☀️🐴💙

🐴☀️ June 1–5, 2026 Summer Horse Camp ☀️🐴

Our second week of Summer Horse Camp at Benbrook Stables was packed with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories! 🤠❤️

Campers spent the week diving deeper into the world of horsemanship. They learned valuable skills such as grooming, bathing, tacking up, safely leading a horse, and even practicing their roping skills. Of course, they also enjoyed plenty of time in the saddle while building confidence and improving their riding abilities. 🐎🪣🪢✨

The fun didn't stop there! Campers enjoyed games, arts & crafts, hayrides, and lots of opportunities to make new friends and create lasting memories. 🎨🚜🎯❤️

One of the biggest highlights of the week was learning how to rope and how to safely lead a horse on their own! 🪢🐴 Watching campers gain confidence as they practiced handling horses independently was incredible. These hands-on skills help build responsibility, horsemanship knowledge, and a deeper connection with the horses. 🌟💪

We are so proud of all of our campers and everything they accomplished this week. Thank you to our amazing families for sharing your children with us. We can't wait for more fun, friendships, and horse-filled adventures as summer camp continues! ☀️🐴❤️

🐴☀️ Horse Camp Season Has Officially Begun at Benbrook Stables with out SummerYou Group! ☀️🐴

Last week kicked off our favorite time of the year—Horse Camp Season! 🤠🎉

Our campers rode into the world of horsemanship, learning all about horse care, grooming, tacking up, bathing, and the responsibilities that come with caring for these amazing animals as well as riding 🐎🧽🪣✨

Of course, it wasn't all work! Campers also enjoyed fun-filled days packed with games 🎯, arts & crafts 🎨, hayrides 🚜, and plenty of time making new friends. ❤️

One of the highlights of the week was learning and performing their group camp chants! 📣🎶 The campers showed incredible teamwork, spirit, and enthusiasm as they cheered on their groups and built confidence together. 💪🌟

We are so proud of all our campers and can't wait for the many memories still to come this summer! ☀️🐴❤️

Spring Break Horse Camp was an absolute blast! 🤠🐴

Our campers got hands-on with all things horses. Campers went from learning how to properly mount and ride Western, to weaving between poles and crossing beams like pros. They also learned horse markings and colors, practiced grooming safety, and spent time bonding with their new four-legged friends.

We mixed in tons of fun too—hayrides, making horse treats, crafts, games and more that kept everyone smiling all week long!

It flew by way too fast, and we’re already missing our campers so much 💛 Can’t wait to do it all again this summer!
