One of my New Year’s resolutions was to get all the girls started off right..well I may have gotten a little to excited and really jumped into it. I normally don’t breed this early in the year let alone have kits already but here we are.
There is going to be lots to expect this coming year due to a lot of surprises from last year. For those of you that know “Mystery Buck” a broken chocolate otter doesn’t seem to be quite that. Seems to me he’s a broken chocolate WE, and with that came a few unexpected litters, don’t get me wrong I love them but I definitely wasn’t expecting that. I’ve really grown to love the variety and will be working to make different color/patterned WE!
And again, I’m really happy with last years stock continuing to this year but I do miss a few of my OGs so I will be growing my Tri’s and hoping to add Magpie just like the good ol days. It took some time to hunt down the chins but thanks to a bunch of lovely ladies help I got my hands on them again.
I did try shTLR Homesteadt last year, seemed to be too time consuming and tricky for a last minute “before the year ends” project. I’m really excited to work with TLR Homestead on this years shaded project and did happen to acquire a few more.
And then for those of you that know me, I love my self variety. I’m going to continue those as well throwing in some Otters and hopefully Augouti if I can get the hang of them. Super excited for this year, I’ll try my best to keep everyone posted on how things are going and what to expect. And thank you again and again to all the people that have helped me get to this point, I wouldn’t be here without any of you❤️
