We are excited to share that our new small art gallery is now officially open! The Friendship and Nature Art Gallery is a beautiful collection of fine art, paintings, sculptures, pottery and more. Featuring artists of all ages from the local area, includng art pieces from the owner, Kellie Cox, and her very talented daughters!

Visit us Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm to view all the pieces on display, we will be adding more and more art every week and having our grand opening Saturday September 26th at our Falling Leaves Festival!

We are looking for a part-time plant care and customer service specialist to join us amazing team!! Hours between 20-25 hours per week.

Job description:
Moving plant material when plant deliveries arrive, organizing plant material for local deliveries, pricing plant material.
Caring for plant material (pruning, cleaning, watering, fertilizing as needed)
Loading and unloading plant material for landscape projects
Helping keep small nursery organized and tidy
Propogating new plants from seed and plugs
Keep the inventory updated and accurate
Complete sales for customers including ringing up sales and selling plants
Care and grow new plants for fresh and dried flowers

Required skill set:
An interest and passion in horticulture, plant care and landscaping
Background in gardening and horticulture preferred, 1+ years
Able to work during the week, occasional weekends needed
Team worker
Great organization & communication skills (important!)
Able to lift 30-50 lbs
Able to work in different weather conditions (heat, light rain, cold)
Must be detailed oriented! Keeping plants alive is an important job.
Friendly and helpful in selling plants to customers
Bonus - bring creativity to the position by helping us grow and imagine better ways to organize and use nursery space

We will have an amazing fun day filled with free delicious treats, pumpkins and plants for sale, kids face painting, pumpkin games and painting, and so much more!

And during our event we will be having our grand opening of our new art gallery, called The Friendship and Nature Art Gallery featuring art from all ages!

The end of summer is almost here! Tomorrow will be August, which means we are starting to think about the upcoming autumn season, organizing for the start of school, thinking about pumpkin decorations and much more!

As we enter into August, the nights will slowly become longer, and cooler temperatures will start to arrive!
