The Sweet Petunia spent the weekend with us, and she completely stole our hearts! While she was a little nervous and didn’t eat much, her incredible affection warmed our hearts all weekend long. She is such an absolute sweet girl to the people she met, showering us with gentle love when she felt ready! Petunia enjoyed looking out the windows to watch the day go by and felt comfortable sitting with us for all the pets and scratches. We loved getting to know this lovely girl.

Petunia may need a little time and patience to feel completely comfortable, but once she does, her sweet and loving personality truly shines. We hope her weekend with us helped her feel safe, loved, and a little more confident. She is such a special girl and deserves a forever home where she can continue to blossom and receive all the love she has to give. 💕🐾

Murphy Monday: The Greeter

Murphy takes his job as our "Greeter" very seriously. Whenever the front door opens, he’s right there at the lobby Dutch door with a tail-wag and an enthusiastic nose-boop to welcome every single arriving friend to Cozy Pet Hotel.

He gives everyone a quick inspection, lets the nervous pups know they're in safe hands, and immediately invites his best buds in for the morning play session. To Murphy, nobody is a stranger—just a best friend he hasn't played chase with (toy in mouth, couch to couch!) yet!

Once the morning rush is checked in and everyone is settled, the Greeter of the Year heads back to his room to cozy up on his couch for a well-earned nap.

Congregations to Kelly, our Pet of the Week here at Cozy's. She spent the week with us and was such an absolute sweetheart.

Kelly has the energy to play all day, but she also does really well in here room while taking a break. We do work with her to walk in her room to rest since she loves having fun with friends. Kelly loves to trot right up to us or another pup to get a play session going and grabbed a treat from one of us. You can usually find her happily smiling chewing on a bone, playing tug of war, or she is clever enough to do some basic tricks to score herself some treats.

We loved having this smart, fun-loving girl around all week, and we can't wait until her next visit to play with her friends. We'll make sure to give her some treats before she leaves as well. Way to Go KELLY!!!

👑🐢 Meet the queens of The Diamond Palace: Tiff and Tink!

These Ornate Diamondback Terrapins may be known for their gorgeous shells, but they're more than just pretty faces.

🌊 Unlike most turtles, Diamondbacks are built for life in coastal marshes and brackish water—the mix of fresh and salt water where rivers meet the sea.

💪 And in their world, the girls are in charge! Female terrapins grow much larger than the males, which definitely fits Tiff and Tink's queenly personalities.

Next time you're at the hotel, stop by and see if you can catch these two ruling their kingdom from behind the glass. 👑🐚

Murphy our Toy Reviewer:
Before Murphy approves any new toys at Cozy Pet Hotel, they have to pass inspection. 🦁🐾

As our self-appointed toy critic, Murphy takes his job very seriously.

His review process includes:

🧸 The Squeak Test – Making sure every squeaky toy is loud enough to get everyone's attention.

🦴 The Bone Check – Giving new chew bones a thorough once-over (and a few extra chomps for good measure).

🎾 The Two-Toss Rule – Bringing you a brand-new ball to throw, then deciding after one or two tosses that it's actually his now.

After he's finished testing the latest arrivals and showing off his favorite to the rest of the pack, Murphy calls it a day. You'll usually find him stretched out on the couch with his winning toy tucked under his chin, enjoying a well-earned break. 🛋️💤

We can't guarantee every toy gets Murphy's approval—but the ones that do become instant favorites.
