No long all-day kennel stays.

Every dog is different during grooming — and that’s okay. 💕

Some dogs love the dryer.
Some need breaks.
Some love being brushed.
Some act like the brush personally offended them. 😂

Learning what each dog is comfortable with is one of the most important parts of grooming.

“This is my 10-year-old cat, Oscar. As he’s gotten older, he doesn’t groom himself as well, which leaves him with greasy skin and extra dander. Today I tried Groomer’s Goop pre-bath degreaser for the first time, and honestly, I’m impressed. His coat feels cleaner, less greasy, and I think this is going to be a great product for senior pets that need a little extra help staying comfortable and clean.” 🐱

🐾 Running a one-on-one grooming business means no two days are ever the same. Some days are filled with baths, haircuts, and nail trims, and other days are spent catching up on scheduling, cleaning, organizing, and planning for future appointments.

I may not have a full grooming schedule every day, but I’m always working behind the scenes to make Somerville Paws & Spas the best experience possible for every pet that comes through my door.
