Willow is advising her friends to stay cool and hydrated during the elevated summer temps! ☀️ 🌊

During scorching temps it is important to avoid walking dogs on hot concrete and asphalt surfaces, as they can easily cause burns on paw pads. If the pavement is too hot for your bare feet, it's likely too hot for your dog's paws. A simple test is to place the back of your hand on the surface for seven seconds; if it's too uncomfortable for you, it's too hot for your dog.

Boxers Meds & Fixits will have limited staff on Thursday 2/20 and Friday 2/21. Our veterinarians and RVTs will be attending the Midwest Veterinary Conference for continuing education. We will still be open to offer nail trims, a**l gland expressions and medication refills. Please plan ahead for your pet’s needs. Thank you!
