Welcome to Stevia’s spot 🏝 She is right in front of the ocean, buried in a secure place 🙏🏼 It was hard to decide where to lay her to rest when this all happened 😔 My husband and I were staying with friends and still didn’t have a place of our own yet. I thought about taking her to my mom’s house in Arizona, but then it felt so far away 😢 Our good friend made this suggestion, as it was a local secret spot where other neighbors also buried their loved furry ones 🐾 I can’t wait to show you all her view one of these days, when the sun is out and shining 🌞 Miss you my Lil Stevia 💖 💕🐾💕🐾 💕🐾

Hey There Precious Peepz 🐥 I wanted to do a series of posts regarding grieving 😔 For the past month now I have been mourning the loss of my Lil Stevia 🐹 The day she past I had to decide what to do with her little body and how to process this massive change in my life 💓 I held her little body in my hands for a couple of hours before I decided to freeze her remains, as I didn’t yet know where I would bury her 🙏🏼 Once I found a safe spot, we had our memorial for her 🌈

3. A bundle of sage (we buried part with her and burned the rest at her funeral)

Hey there Precious Peepz 🐥 Here’s a fun throwback 😄 Lil Stevia was only 7 months here, and we still lived in our old apartment 🐹🏠 Later that night she packed 4 whole peanuts just like the first into her cheeks 😳🤣 It was an incredible feat! 💪 Miss you Lil One......miss you..miss you..miss you to the heavens and back 💞💞💕🐾💕🐾 💕🐾

Congrats Lil Stevia!!! 🎂🎁🍾🥂 You made it to 700 friends by your 2nd birthday 🍰 Dear Precious Peepz 🐥 Please join me in remembering this very special moment and day...this month 2 years ago, Lil Stevia came to earth 🌎 2 months later the Creator sent her to my house to make not just my world, but the whole IG world, a better place 🌈🐾 Since then her memory lives on and continues to make a difference...every day her Lil Spirit - I believe the same Spirit we all share - gives me strength to go on and shine with the same love her and I shared ❤️💕🐾💕🐾 💕🐾

Dearest Peeps, It is with great sadness that I announce Stevia’s passing 😭😭😭 She took her last breathes with my husband and I, and peacefully went to sleep in my hands yesterday evening 🙏🏼 She was not in pain, and tried to keep living till the very end 🌈 We will all miss her dearly ❤️ Thank you Lil Stevia for changing our lives for the better 🤗 Thank you everyone for your uplifting comments, and sincere prayers 🙏🏼 They meant so much to us 🤗🤗🤗 I normal like to answer you all back, but as you can imagine things have been very difficult for me and my family this past week caring for Stevia 🐹 I plan to post more pictures of her during her final days and moments 🥰 I also plan to post memories of her that we never got to share on IG 🐾 Her channel will live on with the same mission - to improve the lives of hamsters and their care givers everywhere, thru edutainment...and to promote the powerful, healing bond that these tiny lives bring into our world each day 🌎 Pls comment below with your favorite memory of Lil Stevia, or share how she touched your life ❤️ Thank you all again for sharing a special part of Stevia’s life 💕🐾💕🐾 💕🐾

Hey There Precious Peepz 🐥 Little Stevia is doing well! She has another diagnosis now tho....cataracts 👁 As you can see in her left eye, it looks slightly ⛅️ Especially compared to her right eye, which still appears to be a shiny red ❤️ This is a normal part of the aging process for hamsters 🐹 I have made adjustments to her habitat for senior living 👵🏼 I’m excited to share these updates with you all and more! 😃 I know that by sharing our experiences, it takes some of the mystery out of caring for our tiny companions during all stages of life 🌈💕🐾💕🐾 💕🐾

Let’s go back about 5 days...we almost lost our lil fur baby 👶🏻 Sometimes you just never know what life is gonna throw at you. That’s why I strongly suggest that ALL HAMSTER OWNERS perform a weekly health check 👍 Anyone can do so, and from the comfort of their own homes 🏡😁 I’ve been doing weekly health checks with Stevia ever since she came home with me, and after her one year bday I started doing them more frequently☝🏼It helps when trying to catch signs of discomfort or illness early 🐹 so you can give your hammy the care they need as quickly as possible 😉 I would love to do a video showing you all how to perform such checks, but I haven’t made one yet 🤨 However, if you DM me, I’ll send you some resources that helped me to learn the techniques behind the simple health check, and more 😃🤓
