’Twas the night before Christmas at the vet clinic so dear…
The kennels were quiet, the leashes hung with care, In hopes that good health soon would be there. The patients were dreaming all snug in their beds, While visions of treats danced in furry little heads.
Doc Griffioen, our Santa in scrubs trimmed with cheer, Checked charts instead of a list, twice, just to be clear. With a stethoscope gleaming and a calm, steady grin, He made sure each patient was healthy within.
Rillie, the vet tech, moved softly along,
Monitoring vitals and humming a song. IVs were flowing, bandages tight, Making sure everyone felt just right.
Natalie, Annie, and Katie worked side by side, From assisting exams to grooming with pride. Gentle hands, kind words, and care you can see, That’s the heart of our clinic, our holiday key.
And tucked somewhere between charts and a chew, Was Otto, Doc’s Rottweiler pup, supervising too. Quality control, morale booster, nap-taking pro, He approved of the clinic and gave it a “woof” to go.
