Candy Corn Update- it’s not great news 💔

This poor girl has a shattered back leg and a broken front elbow.
She’s likely been dealing with this for a little bit and we’re sure she’s been uncomfortable. Despite all that she found her way to safety thanks to her finder and her foster mom and has remained so sweet.

She is currently on pain medication and on strict cage rest while we explore orthopedic surgery options- which is not going to be cheap.

So please consider donating today to help cover her costly vetting.

DONATIONS NEEDED ‼️

Mocha and Espresso were found by one of our foster families living under a porch outside near their house.
These two girls were microchipped but unfortunately we learned their family moved and left these girls behind outside and would not be taking them back 💔
We have taken them in to our care thanks to our foster family being able to take them in.
We have already had them updated on vaccines, dewormed and flea treated which cost us about
$80.

Upon finding them and upon our exam Mocha appeared to be vision impaired 💔
We have had her seen at our vet partner for an exam and have sent out bloodwork to check her out and make sure everything else is okay.
That cost us $278 and as you can see our total balance at this one clinic is very high.
We are really trying to get these vet bills paid down but we are constantly needing new appts as well that cause the bill to grow.

Candy Corn needs your help ‼️

This sweet girl came to us recently after being found outside limping. Her finder’s held her until we got her into one of our foster homes where she’s been now getting TLC already. She is off to our vet tonight for an exam and at least X-rays so we can try to determine what’s going on.

Quill and Rocket are 10 month old bonded brothers and are the sweetest boys! They’re playful, full of energy and have such fun personalities.

DONATIONS NEEDED ‼️

Emmy is one of the last cats we have from the horrible hoarding and neglect case we dealt with back in January. She’s been having some lingering GI upset and last night had a vet visit where she had another f***l sample sent out along with a full senior bloodwork panel.

We are hopeful we can get this girl on the right track but she may be need further diagnostics and she will definitely be needing a dental.

Her visit yesterday was $349 and as you can see our total owed at this one office is over $3,000 now.

We are still trying to get all of our vet bills paid down but we also have cats that still need vet visits.

TRANSPORT NEEDED 💜

Can anyone pick up around 10 kittens from The Spayed Club Veterinary Clinic in Collingdale, PA for us tomorrow night, 10/27, between 5 and 5:30 PM and bring them back to us in Mt. Ephraim , NJ??

🧡 Friday night 10/30 @ 7 PM- Halloween Trivia with cats!
🖤 Saturday 10/31- Halloween Cat Yoga- two sessions available
🧡 Saturday 10/31- Trick or Treat at The Cat Lounge- we’ll be around with candy and goodies after cat yoga to hand out to trick or treaters and the lounge will be open for some cat cuddles!

If you have borrowed a trap from CCC and still have it please reach out to coordinate returning it asap.

We are down to just a few traps left and are working to plan a large trapping project soon.

We will also be revisiting our trap lending program as we cannot keep lending them and not getting back in a timely manner.

INTAKE HOLD ‼️

Unfortunately we have to go back on a strict intake hold- unless we have already agreed to intake someone we cannot assist until we pay off some of our vet bills.
We owe over $15,000 still in vets office bills.

Just this week we have spent over $3,000 in spay/neuter bills, $1,000 on medical supplies including vaccines and $650 on oil for our heater for The Cat Lounge by Community Cat Club.

We have taken in so many kittens this year, so many medical cases and honestly we’ve been overwhelmed.
We strive to provide the best care for the cats and kittens we take in but that comes at a hefty cost.
We also need to be able to take a break for our teams own mental health.
