Sarah Kieran Performance Horses (based in Bellingham, MA) is ISO of a few different roles:

Part-Time Barn Help, Freelance Horse Show Coverage, and a Show Groom!

I'm looking for a reliable person to join our small private hunter/equitation barn. Only 6 horses, so this is a quiet, low-key environment where quality care is top priority.

⭐️ Weekly Part-Time Position:
- Mondays & Tuesdays
- Daily AM/PM chores
- Occasional grooming/tacking if needed

⭐️ Freelance Horse Show Coverage:
I'm looking for someone who can cover the farm while I'm away at shows. This would typically be 4-6 consecutive days with less than 6 horses and would include:
- Daily AM/PM barn chores and general upkeep
- Potential riding opportunities for the right candidate

These positions could absolutely be filled by the same person, but they don't have to be.

⭐️ Fieldstone Groom: August 18th-23rd
- Flexible on housing situation, must have reliable transportation. Care for approx. 5 horses!

I'm looking for someone who has experience handling horses independently, is detail-oriented and takes pride in quality horse care.

HITS Saugerties WCHR Week!

Sunday Edition really stepped up in the Green Conformation division this week with some impressive rounds including an 85!

Sunny was also 11th in the National Derby scoring an 89! (His best score yet!) He really held his own showing against some of the top hunters in the country this week!

We are starting to get really excited for indoors as they are quickly approaching. Only a few shows left before Capital Challenge!

SKPH had a fantastic two weeks at Saratoga and Fairfield!

⭐️ Molli Udis and Galaxy were once again CHAMPION in their jumper division! They even got to move up and jump a couple bigger classes! Nice job!

⭐️Sam Ferrucci and Carter TW are getting to know each other after their first two horse shows! They laid down some beautiful trips in the Bainbridge ring on Sunday in a competitive Adult Hunter Division WCHR week!

⭐️Kari Karwedsky’s Sunday Edition was a super star his first time out in the 3’6 Green Conformation Division picking up a pair of 2nds! Sunny was also 8th in the National Derby out of almost 40 horses!

⭐️ Sunday Edition continued on his winning ways with a couple of blues and a RESERVE CHAMPION in the Green Hunters at Fairfield WCHR week out on the big beautiful grass field!

SKPH is remembering a very special horse today; SPS Tik Tok. There was no one who loved to Hunter Derby more than he did. In his short show career in the US, Harvey won SIX…. Yes, six! 3’ Derbies and was 2nd at the Fieldstone Derby Finals. He finished up his showing career by a 10th place finish in the $15,000 night class at the Big E and another derby win at the final horse show held at Sandy Point Stables with Sarah in the 3’ and his kid in the 2’6. There’s nothing like a good Thoroughbred! Miss you, Harvey!

Since people keep asking “where the hell are you and what are you doing”… the answer is… at our new home location in Bellingham! Just 2 minutes off of 495, not even 10 minute to the mass pike, and just about 30 minutes from Providence RI. Come join us by bringing your own horse, or lease one of ours! Our next stop is Saratoga June 10th and Fairfield June 17th. See you there!
