And down they go. Just put the first batch down. Splash, blue, black and a mystery. I have a chocolate hen in with my splash rooster. Will candle in a week and see how they're doing.

So she thinks she's hiding her and her eggs from us. She went broody under the front stairs and I can't get to her.

So did a test run on the new incubator (and learned how to run it). Had a few hatches but somehow ended up with 2 chocolate chicks. I'm scratching my head as my gals are all blue and black and my roos are splash and black. Someone is hiding something...

Sorry I haven't post in quiet a while. The ladies are finally laying and I have 1 black rooster covering 6 gals. Fertility is great bit I'm working on the hatch rate. As chicks hatch I will contact those that have contacted me. :-)

Found the new egg laying spot. I have several hens that just refuse to into the coop at night so they roam in the morning. I got the stink eye when I walked outside.
