Running Dog Walk Training Mats

Are you training a running Dog Walk?
Are you using a mat in the process?
Are you finding that Duct Taping the mat to your DW just isn't the greatest solution?

I was recently asked if I could make a mat (similar to the ones you can get out of the UK) that can be strapped to the DW.

-Ribbed rubber backing gives added grip to your DW to help prevent the mat from slipping. Along with (3) 1" Nylon Buckle Straps that can be adjusted to make a snug fit to your DW.
-Dimensions: 12"x20"X1/4"
-Rubber Colors: Light Blue, Blue, Yellow, Red
(these are the colors I currently have on hand, with enough demand I can order rubber in other colors, if you have a special rubber color request, please let me know and I'll look into adding that color to my inventory)

What kind of Agility Training Equipment (or general training equipment) are you looking for?
Fabrication of various items has begun. From 2x2 weave pole bases, to contact equipment granular rubber skins.....
I’ll be releasing more details of what I’m making (including prices) starting in the next couple days.

Agility Training Classes:

Foundation Skills:
This class is the essential first step for any dog and/or handler new to agility. No matter the dogs age or handlers experience. Here we will learn the foundation skills necessary to successfully train in agility.

Obstacle Skills:
This class is where we introduce the dog/handler team to each of the obstacles. While building on the skills in the foundation class, the team will be instructed on how to complete each of the obstacles safely and successfully.

Intro to Handling:
In this class we will start to put all previously learned skills into motion. You will learn basic handling techniques to help guide your dog through short sequences of obstacles while also advancing the individual obstacle skills performance.

Handling (Level 1):
In this class we will continue to build on previously learned handling techniques, introduce new, more advanced techniques, and support handler/dog teams in sequencing more obstacles.

Handling (Level 2):
This class will focus on advanced handling techniques and fine tuning the handler/dog’s agility skills and performance.

Group Classes:
Group classes will consist of 4-6 handler/dog teams. Classes will be 1 to 1-1/2 hours long, once a week, for 6 weeks (unless otherwise noted).

Private Lessons:
Private lessons are available upon request. Please contact me for more detail if interested.

Hi, my name is Dave and my dog journey started back in 2011 when I brought home my dog, Max. I quickly realized that in order to have the relationship I wanted with Max, I was the one who needed more coaching than he did. Since then, I have been coached by many great trainers, competed in rally and agility competitions, rescued a border collie pup (because who’s life couldn’t use a bit more chaos?), participated in many dog training seminars, and adopted a collective approach to dog handling that focuses on what the dog needs to be successful.

With the support and encouragement of those who have helped train me, I decided to take the next step in my dog journey and started my own business, All About The Dogs, a business that combines my passions for equipment manufacturing, repair, and restoration, and dog training. In need of new dog equipment or have equipment that could use a little TLC, I’m happy to provide quality, locally made (by me) products at an affordable price. Interested in building a better relationship with your dog and/or learning the ropes of agility? I’m happy to work with dogs and handlers of any and all experience levels.
