A few months ago I was invited to teach a lesson about dogs at the ECC preschool in Bellevue. I educated this group of brilliant young minds about how to care for dogs and what a dog trainer does for a career. In this photo I had brought along Banes. Banes was a puppy enrolled in my board and train program. Thank you ECC preschool for inviting me to your class. Banes and I were honoured to be your guest.

Honey today was introduced to the treadmill. I was amazed on how well she did. When training dogs to walk on the treadmill you must be sure to work progressively and begin at a slow speed. It won’t be long before Honey is running on the treadmill. TIP: Day by day you get better and better

You notice in this video that young Tobey here is very interested in what’s going on with the cat and object he is playing with. His ears perked and head leaning towards the cat. Notice though how he remains in place like he should be. This is remarkable disciple on his behalf. So excited for Tobey! TIP: It’s never to early to begin training.

Before I introduced place work to Cooper he was confused and had no idea on what to do or how to behave. Now that Cooper is conditioned on place work he has his own place. He knows now where to be in case he feels anxious or confused. Cooper loves his place board. Watch how he just goes on with no fuss and lays comfortably.
