WE ARE HIRING! 🐶☀️😃

As an employee of Sunrise Pet Boarding you will be joining a team of collaborative, reliable, hard working people who are extremely committed to the care and the well being of all of our animals. We are a local family owned daycare and boarding facility located in Belleville/Mascoutah.
Full Time and Part Time positions open require both week days and weekends.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An eagerness to learn about dog behaviors, body language, group dynamics and managing sometimes challenging behaviors.

• Have a positive, energetic, easy going attitude and desire/willingness to learn.
Self motivated and comfortable working alone as well as on a team.

• Being comfortable with all types of dogs, both large and small.

• Ability to work in a loud and sometimes overstimulating environment.

• Excellent time management skills - able to show up ready to work and on time.

• A reliable mode of transportation.

You will be responsible for monitoring groups of dogs, transporting them throughout the facility, cleaning and sanitizing of the facility, and much more. You will learn about dog behavior, body language, development, socialization, appropriate play, group management. As well as, proper sanitization protocols to keep both the dogs and employees safe.
Customer service, cash handling, and computer skills will be necessary when checking in/out.

You will have support and guidance from an awesome team of people, as well as the opportunity to bring your dog to work with you!

It is a physically demanding job that requires you to be on your feet for several hours. You must be able to lift 50+lbs, work with both large and small dogs, cats and others, crouch, kneel, walk for 15+ minute intervals, stand for long periods of time, and be able to happily communicate with your fellow staff members and customers.
