The babies are ok and home now. They ate 2.5lbs of raisins yesterday and gave us a big scare. Their kidney function is stable!

If anyone has not found a Portie puppy and they are still wanting one now, let me know. I have a breeder friend who has 2 pups left from a recent litter.

Unfortunately the X-ray showed 0 puppies for Brisa this time. We are looking at April for the earliest we would have another litter. :(

It appears that we will be having puppies in mid-December. We will verify and get a rough count in a couple of weeks! :)

We had 1 successful breeding on Monday and another tonight. We will continue breeding every other day throughout her heat. We will know in a couple of weeks if they were successful...

Brisa is in season now. We are planning to breed her to Copper. I will keep everyone informed about the progress and if we will be having puppies from this heat. I know that lots of you would like to "reserve" a puppy and I will start accepting deposits once we know for sure. Thank you!

We have been watching Pepper, one of Brisa's pups from her first litter 2 years ago. I had almost forgotten how energetic a not-quite-two year old Portie can be. LOL

Brisa should be coming into heat soon, I am very anxious to breed her. We are going to use Copper as stud for this litter. Should have some beautiful brown's and hopefully some strong white markings. :)
