I wanted to hop on here and share some updates coming in 2026! 😁
📢 2026 Updates from Vanessa’s Pet Sitting Services, LLC
To continue providing the highest quality care and reliable service, we’ll be making a few important updates starting January 1, 2026.
Here’s what’s new:
✨ Meet & Greet Fee – $20 for all new clients or when adding a new pet, service, or address. The meet & greet fee will be applied toward your invoice.
⏰ Updated Cancellation Policy – Fees apply for cancellations within 72 hours of service. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged 100% of the scheduled invoice.
❌ Home Occupancy Policy – Due to safety concerns, we will no longer provide service if someone is present in the home unless otherwise specified and approved. This includes family members, roommates, or guests. Our team’s safety is our top priority.
🏡 Meet & Greet Requirement – Required for all new boarding and pet care clients. Boarding clients must complete and pass a trial night and get along with cats. Pickups for boarding must be completed by 2 PM, or a $40 late pickup fee will apply.
🐕 Visit Minimums –
• Crated dogs: 3 visits/day
• Non-crated dogs: 2 visits/day
• Cats: 1 visit/day (no every-other-day visits for safety)
❤️ Pet Health & Safety – All pets must be vaccinated, parasite-free, and in good health.
💲 Holiday Fee – A $10 per visit holiday fee will apply on the following major holidays:
New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Thanksgiving Day.
Boarding during major holidays will include a $10/day additional fee.
🚗 Service Area Update – Starting in 2026, we will no longer service Winter Garden or Horizon West. We’ll now be proudly focusing on the East Orlando and Oviedo areas! All other service areas will remain the same.
💲Overnight price increase will be $100/night (includes two pets, $5 extra for each additional pet) starting Jan 1st.
