To all of my wonderful clients,

I've made the hard decision to close down my in-home grooming shop as of October 17th. I've conditionally accepted a new full-time position. Unfortunately for all of my clients, my new position is not grooming dogs.

I have currently shut off all facebook scheduling and will not be accepting new clients. If you are a repeat client and would like to schedule, please call, text, or message me.

If you have an appiontment after October 17th, I will be in contact with you by the end of the week.

If you are a repeat client and would like me to write you a grooming card thay covers hair length, shampoo, dog temperment, etc., please let me know and I would be happy to get that to you for your new groomer.

This is what's best for my growing family and I hope that you all understand. I am very excited for this new chapter in my life. Thank you for being so great this past year. I appreciate you all for keeping me busy!

Shop hours available for appointment only:

Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am-12:00pm

As most of you know, I am a one woman show at Pippa's Posh Pet Salon. This allows me to stay open late on occasion per client convenience. Due to this service recently being abused, I will be charging a $10.00 fee if all dogs are not picked up by closing time or if I am still grooming your dog past closing time. You will be notified when scheduling if this charge may be applied at checkout.

If I am grooming your dog past closing and they are not picked up within an hour of me notifying you that they are ready to go home, you will be charged both the $10.00 late fee and kenneling fees.

Please remember that I am a grooming service NOT a kenneling service.

Hello everyone! Here are a few updates to keep you in the loop! It gets lengthy, but it's important to read through it all to avoid missed appointments/extra fees.

-Due to MANY no call/no show appointments happening, if you are more than 15 minutes late you MAY be asked to reschedule depending on when my next appointment is and if you are more than 30 minutes late you WILL be asked to reschedule

- I will be allowing 1 HOUR after you have been notified that your pets groom is finished before I start to charge kenneling fees. I have tried to be super understanding about this, but I have been getting dogs left with me all day which is not fair to me or the pet. I always give a time estimate when you drop your pet off and can even send you text updates! Please don't schedule your dog to be groomed unless you know you have time to pick him/her up within an hour of being notified that his/her groom is finished.

-I am still okay with grooming medium/well behaved large dogs. If you aren't sure about scheduling your dog, please message me and I would be happy to let you know! I've taken all of the large breed grooming options off of the BOOK NOW button to ensure that all large breed grooming is scheduled directly through me (facebook message, call, and text).

- Please remember that I am by appointment only. Even nail trims must have a set appointment time.

Pippa and Deacon will be getting a human sibling this coming February!

What does this mean for all of you? Here is a list of current changes for Pippa's Posh Pet Salon! These changes will be effective immediately. If you already have a scheduled appointment, it is still good!

- I will not be accepting any NEW dogs that are known to be aggressive reactive or nervous reactive. If you have an aggressive/nervous reactive dog that I have seen before, I will still groom your dog!

- I will not be accepting any NEW cat clients.

- I will be removing all grooming options for dogs over 60 pounds from the BOOK NOW button. I will only be scheduling dogs over 60 pounds through Facebook message, calls, or texts to make sure I have enough help.

- I will only be offering my pickup/dropoff services for elderly, those who have just had surgery, etc. I do still offer curbside pickup and dropoff where I will come out to your car to get your dog!

- To promote social distancing, I will not be allowing any grooming with the owner present. I will also be discouraging any waiting in the shop for your dog to be finished.

Full groom on a 5 month old standard poodle puppy named Charlie. What a pretty girl!

A few reminders:
- I have moved into the building at the end if the driveway
- Due to the recent pandemic, I will not be permitting any grooming with the owner present unless I specifically ask you to be there to help deal with nervousness/aggression.
- I am still offering curbside pickup/dropoff.
-Dont want to leave the house? I will come pickup your pet at an additional charge depending on where you are located!
- If you are using the BOOK NOW button and it does not give you a screen with service options, please message me to schedule an appointment instead. This will ensure that I have enough time for your groom!
- If you are new to using the BOOK NOW button and are not sure which package to choose, just go ahead and choose either one and put your dog's breed in the comments and/or send me a picture of him/her and I will adjust the time accordingly.

Hello everyone! As you all know, I work very hard to get everyone in ASAP. I have a few spots left to fill at the end of the first week of June if you would like to get in right away.

If you use the BOOK NOW button on facebook and it does not give you a list to choose a service (it has been working off and on) please message me with your dogs breed, a picture of your dog, and your preference of day/time of the week that would work better for you and I will send you a list of appointment options!

If you are using the BOOK NOW button please book at least 24 hours ahead of time to ensure that I see your appointment and that it is approved. I check multiple times a day, but as most of you know, I am a very busy lady 🤣

Pet parade Monday the 18th at 3:30 pm at Rolling Hills nursing home on 13th Avenue.
The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) are inviting you to participate or come watch. We are bringing our dogs, horses, chickens, etc (and you can bring your pets too) to have a pet parade around the whole building so all residents in the nursing home can see the people in the community and our pets all while social distancing!
