Eggs are out in The Egg Shack! Come grab some fresh eggs while they last. A huge, heartfelt thank you to the incredibly kind soul who left far more than our asking price. Your generosity helps us make sure eggs are available to those who may be in need and your kindness means more than you know.

The Egg Shack is freshly restocked, but before you head over, I wanted to share something that made me smile and I hope it brings a little light to your day too.

Yesterday I found a note from someone who took some eggs but felt bad they couldn’t leave any money. Their words were so heartfelt and honestly it meant more to Leli and I than they probably realize.

While the money left does help us keep the Ladies well fed (and they’re very serious about their mealtime!) that’s not what matters most. What matters is that people have access to good food when they need it. To the kind soul who left the note: please don’t ever feel bad, your message was a gift all its own and we did in fact let the Ladies know how thankful you were for their hard work 💜

Lel’s Lil Acre is the dream of myself (Tori) and my 8 year old daughter Lelianna; who put’s the Lel into Lel’s Lil Acre. Located just outside of beautiful Bellaire Michigan, we offer fresh chicken eggs and humanly raised Meat Chickens, along with veggies grown using organic practices. We also make all natural and organic soaps as well! We would love to be your go to for fresh, local eggs and welcome anyone out to the farm to see the ladies!
