Miki received her first in-home care to avoid the stressful car rides, which only make her condition flare up and work against her. She received some supportive advice from the vet, got some compound transdermal medications, acupuncture, and cold laser therapy. The owner mentioned she likes jazz music, which really helped keep her much more calm during the visit.

If my mom didn’t choose me… I wouldn’t be here today.”
I went from a shelter…
to fighting through heartworms…
to learning what it feels like to be safe.
Today was my first home visit.

I was a little excited and a little nervous (those storms didn’t help 😅), but I was right where I belong, with my mom, in the place I feel most comfortable.

We worked on:
• Keeping me healthy with vaccines
• Helping me feel better in my body with a weight plan
• Making sure I stay protected with heartworm prevention

I’m still learning… still healing… still growing. I'm a survivor♡ , and that’s everything.

I just had my first in-home calming acupuncture treatment and did amazing ✨

I do have a special someone, my mom ❤️ she’s my best friend and my whole world.

This World Veterinary Day, I’m thankful for the heart behind what we do. With my incredible team, we’re able to care for senior and special needs pets in the place they feel safest, their home. It’s a privilege we never take for granted.

We went to see this little cutie, Olive, aka “the nugget.”

Her mom reached out about her itching, and after a full head-to-toe exam and reviewing her history, we took a closer look at her ears to address what was bothering her most. After cleaning and treating them right at home, she got some much-needed relief.

We also discussed a few possible underlying factors to keep on our radar moving forward.

We met Neely right where she’s most comfortable🏡

When we first saw her, she was pacing at night, walking on her tip toes, and clearly uncomfortable. With a personalized pain management plan, nail trim for better stability, ears cleaned & treateand support from her amazing family, she is now walking more comfortably and sleeping so much better.

We even got to meet her sweet housemate during the visit.

This is the power of calm, in-home care — especially for senior pets who struggle with mobility or anxiety.

House calls, comfy couches, and a lick mat treats!
Mila was the good girl during her visit and showed us her best sit pretty. One step at a time, her skin issues are healing well at home 💛🐾

Some pets leave an imprint on our hearts that lasts forever. Mutley was one of those special souls.

Although we had the privilege of knowing Mutley for only a short time while supporting him with in-home acupuncture and herbal care, it was immediately clear how deeply loved he was. His mom cared for him with extraordinary devotion, thoughtfully supporting his diet, comfort, and overall well-being every single day.

Mutley had a gentle spirit and would perk up during our visits, reminding us just how resilient and loving animals can be. Watching the bond between him and his mom was incredibly touching. Her dedication to him throughout every step of his care reflected a love every pet deserves.

Sadly, his family soon discovered that Mutley was facing an aggressive cancer that progressed far too quickly. Losing him has been heartbreaking.

Hearing the stories of their many years together and witnessing the kindness and compassion that surrounded him reminded us of the power of the human-animal bond.

Mutley, you were deeply cherished. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your journey.

You will be forever remembered, sweet boy. 🐾🤍

Ruby the Mini Pinscher was seen at home for back leg wobbliness and discomfort that hadn’t fully improved with medications alone.

After her first acupuncture session, we saw a softer expression, a calmer body, and steadier little steps. Her personality started shining through again!

Healing looks different for every dog, but sometimes the smallest needles can help bring back the biggest spark.
