We’ll be selling 230 head of calves, mostly heifers.

This is a good, honest set of calves that are ready to go to work.

✔️ Limit fed. Set up to go straight to grass.
✔️ Or take them to the yard and put the pounds on.
✔️ Uniform, functional kind that fit a lot of programs.

There are also some very high-quality replacement heifers in this group.

After a lot of thought, late nights, and market research… we’ve decided it’s time for a change… Again.

Dodds Cattle will officially be transitioning from beef production to full-scale alpaca operations.

We feel this move better aligns with current trends, our long-term vision, and frankly… their hair is just incredible. Bob is envious.

Effective immediately:
• All heifers will be replaced with alpacas
• AI services will now focus on “premium fiber genetics”
• Our new slogan: “Where good fleece becomes great sweaters”

We’ll also be offering:
✔️ Luxury alpaca yoga experiences.
✔️ Farm tours featuring “meet & greets” (they spit, so keep your distance).
✔️ Hand-crafted alpaca wool products coming soon to The Homestead- A Farm to Table Market.

We appreciate all the support over the years as we step into this exciting new chapter.
