Meet Ziggy a harbor seal who was rescued by Today's nonprofit Pacific Marine Mammal Rescue Center works to rescue, rehabilitate, and release marine mammals by also educating and inspiring ocean stewardship through research. They work hard to provide a safe rehabilitation environment with an average of 3 month turn around for release. You can visit and see the impact yourself for these seals in Laguna, they are open 10am-4pm and admission is free. This nonprofit is solely funded on donations, so if you would like to help make a difference go to their instagram page for more info.

Remember that yearly dental exams and teeth floating are part of your horse's overall heath and wellness program! This horse (pictured below) was having difficulty chewing and upon exam, we saw a large branch embedded in the roof of the mouth. The branch was removed as gently as possible, but sores had already occurred underneath. The horse healed well in the two weeks following the exam/float.
