Our veterinary practice is seeking a new veterinary technician to join our compassionate, hard-working team. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and has a genuine love for animals and people alike. This position requires excellent multitasking abilities, as our technicians juggle a wide variety of critical responsibilities on a daily basis. From monitoring hospitalized pets and providing hands-on care to surgical assistance and client education, our technicians play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of every animal we treat. The technician we hire must have superb customer service skills, as they will interact closely with pet owners during appointments and procedures, explaining complicated topics in a clear, empathetic manner. We need someone who pays sharp attention to detail, whether they are taking vitals, administering medications, running lab tests, or maintaining meticulous inventory records. Given the unpredictable nature of veterinary emergencies, the technician must think quickly on their feet and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
