It's always sad when you loose an animal. Even if you knew it was coming. Our Angel chicken had a bad bout of sour crop earlier this summer. She did recover but she didn't bounce back to her usual self. The past two or so weeks she's been quiet, uninterested in food and generally unwell. We couldn't find anything wrong so we tried vitamins and electrolytes but she still didn't perk up. She passed away yesterday in her sleep. She was one of two left from our very first flock. Now it's just Hwin. Rest in peace sweet Angel. You'll be missed.
