We’ve got plenty to do—repairing shelters and fences, organizing tack, sprucing up spaces, and getting everything ready for a busy season of lessons, camps, and community programs.
No experience needed—just bring your energy, work gloves, and a willingness to help. All ages welcome!

We need Chore Help starting mid May. Weekdays and Weekends a.m & p.m shifts.
Chores are not super hard most days and include making sure our special seniors get their grain.

It’s been one week since we said goodbye to Bella, and the barn still feels a little quieter without her. 🤍
Bella spent more than 10 years at Lost Creek Ranch doing what she did best—teaching. She carried beginners through their first rides, helping find their confidence, and showed so many kids (and adults) what it means to build a real partnership with a horse. She could be a sassy red mare with plenty of opinions, but she was also steady, honest, and incredibly generous with her heart. A true show horse, and an even better teacher.

This past week we’ve heard so many stories from our community—first rides, first shows, first ribbons and first “I did it!” moments—and it’s reminded us just how many lives Bella touched. That’s the legacy she leaves behind: confidence built, fears conquered, and a whole lot of love for horses.

If you’d like to honor Bella, we are accepting donations to help offset the costs of her final care. Any additional funds will go directly toward camp scholarships, helping more kids experience the same joy, confidence, and connection with horses that Bella gave to so many.

Thank you for all the kindness, messages, and memories you’ve shared. There's a Bella shaped hole in our hearts but she will always be part of the of this barn and the riders she helped shape.

We suffered a devastating loss today.

Bella has been a beloved lesson horse for over 15 years. This morning she was showing signs of pain. Two vets agreed she could not be saved.

We are all heartbroken and know that this news will hit you as hard as it did us.

We are hoping to raise enough funds to cover her end of life costs and more importantly fund some camp scholarships.

Please share your/kids personal experiences with Bella. She taught so many riders in her time with us.

She is at peace now but we will always have a Bella shaped hole in our herd.
