Povidone Iodine—Nature’s Antimicrobial Solution🌱🦠🐾

If paws are bleeding🩸, have sores, or trauma from licking, I recommend using povidone iodine (Betadine™)—a safe, nontoxic solution that’s antifungal (for yeast and dermatophytes ), antibacterial (even against resistant infections ), doesn’t sting, and promotes wound healing .

Baron’s K-9 Market

Ben and Jen Smyser are the proud owner’s of Baron’s K-9 Market. Originally established in 2004 by Stacy and John Duffy, Ben and Jen took over ownership in 2018.

Ben is a proud graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He has been in the pet industry for over 15 years working in both manufacturing and distribution. Ben brings his nutritional knowledge to Baron’s from years of working directly with many of the pet food manufacturers that are currently being carried in the store.

Jen graduated from Shippensburg University with a B.S. in Public Administration. She has worked at Wellspan Health for 20 years, but in her spare time helps with the stores social media campaigns, events and decorates the store for each season.

Ben and Jen have four fur kids that demand a lot of their attention. Sullivan who is often in the store with Ben is their Red and White Border Collie. They rescued Sullivan at 10 months and fell in love with him immediately. At home they have three adorable goats Willow, Clover, and Zermatt. Initially gifts for their niece and nephew, the goats quickly became pets and extremely needy and lovable.
