The Clinton County SPCA is currently seeking a reliable, hardworking Part-Time Kennel Attendant to join our team. This is a hands-on position working directly with dogs and cats on a daily basis.

🐶 Job Responsibilities Include:
🐾Daily care of dogs and cats (feeding, cleaning, medicating, and basic handling)
🐾Cleaning kennels, litter boxes, and common areas
🐾Safe handling and restraint of animals
🐾Following established protocols and directions
🐾Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
🐾Working professionally with the public, both in person and via phone

💪 Physical & Practical Requirements:
▪️Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
▪️Able to bend, kneel, and stand repeatedly with ease
▪️Comfortable working around f***s, urine, vomit, and other bodily fluids
▪️Must be comfortable administering medication when needed
❗Hands-on animal care daily (this is not a desk job)❗

✅ Ideal Candidate:
▪️Being physically capable of the job demands
▪️Basic understanding of animal behavior
▪️Dog and/or cat handling experience required
▪️Reliable transportation / license preferred

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Oak Hollow Animal Hospital family as a Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant.

This is a full-time position working 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offering a great opportunity for career development in veterinary care.

The position requires at least six months of experience or more in a veterinary practice, rescue, grooming, or working with animals.

Responsibilities include a mix of administrative tasks such as managing records on Google Drive, scheduling appointments, and customer service, alongside hands-on duties like patient intake and discharge, animal handling, and maintaining the cleanliness of the office and kennels.
The role also involves sterilizing instruments, surgery laundry, wrapping packs, drapes, and gowns for surgery the next day, sterilizing the surgery suite, administering medication to patients by mouth, and performing various other tasks essential to the smooth operation of the clinic.
Candidates should possess basic computer skills, have experience with veterinary terminology, and be capable of lifting 40lbs or more.
The position requires flexibility to work 1-2 weekend shifts per month and select Saturday mornings.

My name's Taz, and I've mastered the art of doing absolutely nothing but cat things. Iv been living the outdoor/indoor dream my whole life! This 14-year-old feline is an expert napper and snuggler. I'm looking for a forever home where I can perfect my sweet boy skills. And don't worry, I'll come with up-to-date vaccines - with a clean bill of health.

He was supposed to be a goner today, but we convinced his humans to surrender him instead. ✨🙏🏼 After tears sad and joyful tears knowing they didn't have to euthanize there cat. They were thankful to have another option. 🫶🏼 We were thankful they accepted our offer.

Now it's time to get this very sweet boy another family to love him!

Part of me didn't even feel like it was ethical to breed this year, due to the overflow in rescue.
I have put it off now for over 2 years due to feeling this way. 😓
This will be the final litter to be born out our French bulldog pack.❣️
It's bitter sweet ending to our year.
