We had a great two past weekends of showing!

So excited for the spring weather to be out at the shows almost every weekend!

Last week we showed at 4 seasons and had a great time!

Leila and Indiana Jones stepped up to the children’s hunters for the first time and came out reserve of a competitive group of riders!

Jordan and Pick Pocket Z had a great show in the 2’3 hopefuls pulling some seconds over fences !

Victoria and castaway showed In the children’s hunters as well winning a trip over fences and also getting 2nd in the classic!

Audrey and Cahoots showed in the 3’3 junior hunters with some great trips and a win in the hack!

Donovan and Bejeweled completed in the itty bitty jumpers getting 3 4ths out of a large competitive group!

Daisy and Sleipnir went to their first show together showing in the low children’s eq. They had a great first show getting some great ribbons and learning a lot!

This past weekend we also went to Lotus and enjoyed a great day of showing in the sun!

Ashley and Thunder Buddy showing in the 2’3 hopefuls coming out with some great ribbons. Then went on to show in the modified 2’3 equitation and ended champion!

Emma and Save the Date showing in the short stirrup hunters and eq to finish the day. Coming away champion in the hunters and reserve champion in the eq!

Can’t wait for an exciting show season!

And that’s a wrap for WEC Ohio 2026!

We had a great time and I think it’s safe to say we will be back !

Audrey and cahoots ended their weekend with a reserve champion in the 3’3 junior hunters after winning their handy round today!

Leila and Indiana Jones won both their over fence classes today finishing with champion in the Modified 2’9 child / adult hunters. First time moving up was a huge success!

Victoria and Castaway had some of their best riding yet since moving to the 3ft finishing with A 3rd over fences and a 4th in the classic!

Lastly Isla and Lasting Legacy had their .90 classic today having 2 clear rounds and finishing 4th in their classic!

Great riding by all this weekend and lots of fun had!

Another great day showing at Wec!

Started the day off with Audrey and Cahoots in the 3’3 junior hunters. They had two lovely trips over fences and won the hack!

Isla and Lasting Legacy had a clear round in their Junior / Amateur .90s speed class finishing 6th. Then moved over to the Modified 2’9 Eq putting down a nice trip to finish 8th.

Leila and Indiana jones moved up to the 2’9 hunters for the first time and pulled two 2nds over fences out of a competitive group of 11.

Finished the day off with Victoria and Castaway in the children’s hunters. They put down some great rounds finishing 4th in the classic and another 5th in the other over fences class.

Very happy with all our riders and horses so far, one more day of showing tomorrow then back home we go!

Amazing first day showing at !

Victoria and Castaway started us off in the Children’s Eq as a warm up for this weekend and had a beautiful round earning them at 5th out of a competitive group of 9!

Audrey and Cahoots did a warm up in the 3’3 equitation putting in some lovely rounds ending 3rd!

Isla and Lasting Legacy competed in the training .90 jumpers and the junior /am .90s having some nice rounds finding 4th In the jr/am!

Finished the day off with Leila and Indiana Jones in the low children’s eq. They got 2nd over fences in both classes and won the flat class out of 9! Ending champion of the division!

Looking forward to the next two days of showing after such a great start!

Firefly Equestrian in bedminster nj has some rare openings in our lesson program. Come join the Firefly family! Whether you’re just getting into riding, have been riding for years or maybe returning to the sport, we have something for everyone! We participate in both local and rated shows year round as well as have a successful IEA team available to riders in 6th-12th grade.
