I am overcome with sorrow as I say goodbye to my dear friend Dexter, my constant companion for 14.5 years. His presence was a blessing, and his departure has left an unfillable void. I respectfully request your prayers and support for myself and my loved ones as we cope with this immense loss. May his memory be a celebration of joy and companionship. I love him deeply and my family and work parteners are broken by this so please be patient as we navigate this loss .

People who have never loved a dog may never fully understand this kind of grief. Dogs become part of our routines, our homes, and the quiet moments nobody else sees. When they leave, the emptiness touches every corner of life. Love that deep deserves to be mourned deeply too.
