I'm so glad to see Puppy Love in Roanoke Virginia close for good. Stores like these get pups from "brokers" that are in contact with puppy mills all over the country.
They provide dogs that are not health tested, parents are overbred and neglected, existing in horrible living conditions.
They never know what grass feels like, or what love should feel like.
Many parents are deformed from interbreeding and unhealthy leading to sick pups that often have lifelong issues or unfortunately die very young. Causing heartbreak and scamming you out of hundreds of dollars for the puppy, and no help with vet expenses in the thousands, only to have your new family member die a painful death. Not exactly the fairytale story we hope for when getting a new family member.

If you want a pure bred puppy please research where they are coming from. There are so many pure breed rescue organizations due to puppy mills that can benefit from your adoptions, while saving lives and no longer providing a means to keep the monsters from profiting from irresponsible breeding and abusive conditions.
