It was another fun outing for members of Local 3571 as we, for the 3rd year, participated in Schaumburg Professional Firefighters Association IAFF LOCAL 4092 31st Schaumburg Firefighter's Annual Softball Tournament! This is a tournament that we look forward to every year as it’s another reason for us to bring members and their families together. On behalf of the members of Local 3571 we would like to send our thoughts, prayers, and condolences out to the family, friends, and members of the Oswego Firefighters Local 4773 on the passing of Brother Firefigher/Paramedic Roberto Flores. Roberto was described by those who knew him as an “Amazing dude who was truly an inspiration to everyone around him. No matter what he was going through, he was always willing to help anyone in need. He faced every challenge with a smile and a positive spirit, even in the toughest moments. Cancer never stood in the way of him being an incredible husband and father. The brotherhood meant the world to him, and he’ll always be remembered for his strength, kindness, and unwavering love for those around him.” Rest in peace Roberto, we will take it from here.
