We were turning horses out yesterday and I stopped to get this video. Sophie says “Mom, COME ON….they do the same thing every morning and you take pictures every morning”. 🤣 I just can’t help myself. They bring me so much joy cause they are so stinkin’ cute

Come out and join us tomorrow! We'll start serving food at 11:30am and will go until we run out of food or people stop coming :) Horse rides will start around 12:00 pm.

As you probably know, I (Jennifer) am not a horse trainer... I am learning as I go with Spartan. I have the BEST trainer (Macie) 🥰. I've been working on teaching Spartan to lunge, but I needed a little help. But, I'm pretty proud that he knew what was expected, so I must have been doing something right!! He's such a good BOY! And he loves being groomed!!

Nobody is thirsty until the trough is empty 🤣 (Krisalyn dumped it to clean it).

This paddock is day turnout for the oldest (30 years old) and youngest (9-10 months) horses on the property. And Arlo is only 3 years old. They’re a fun group; very curious and friendly!

Sophie's horse, Nauvie, has a foot abscess (tis the season😫) that Macie was hoof packing yesterday. She was using a diaper to wrap it. Laken was watching her, taking it all in. This morning Laken told her mommy that her baby doll's foot was hurt and she needed to put a diaper on it 🤣

*This isn't the horse with the abscess... I included it because she's so cute 🥰

I had the privilege of listening to Sophie lead worship and Macie give the message during chapel this morning. What a blessing! Listen how Macie relates Liberty work with Remie to her walk with God, and how we can apply it to our lives.

Let me start by saying how CRAZY the weather is... Yesterday was in the high-70s and this morning it was low-30s with windchills in the low-20s!! But, we have a dedicated farrier and barn manager who don't let the cold temperatures stop them!

Spartan got his first trim this morning! We just did the fronts this time to ease him into it. He did GREAT!!! I'm really proud of our progress 🥰.

I took Spartan for a walk today to eat some new grass (his paddock is still mostly mud 😣). I think he enjoyed the treat! He is such a sweet fella! I love how much he trusts me 🥰
