IMPORTANT:
So sadly on Tuesday I woke up to a message that my dad had passed. I had a groom scheduled for an hour away but still went and did it. The dog that was a basset mix kept trying to urinate with little success. After I brushed her, trimmed her nails , cleaned her ears, shampoo and conditioned her as well as gave her a nice oil treatment I saw she was still having trouble. At a closer look I noted that she was urinating blood. I told the owner he should bring her to the vet as he said it had been going on for two weeks. He seemed to not care. I left and went on with my day and felt wrong about not advocating for that dog so I contacted animal control. I told them the dog looked well taken care of other than the UTI the guy did not seem to worried about. I woke up yesterday morning to nasty voice mails, he put up 2 very nasty untrue comments in my review section that were complete lies and deformation of my character. Everyone knows that I always put an animals welfare first. He changed my star ⭐️ rating to a 4.5 after it being A 5 ⭐️ rating for 7 years. This man also decided to contact animal control in my town making a false report against us that is just rediculous. He also has been threatening me and harassing me so the police will be taking a report and we are filing a wrongful report and harassment charge against him through the court. Please know that my calling was purely for the safety of the dog and no I’ll will against him. Please take time to read all of our real reviews if you would like to use our services. My number 1 concern is always the health, well being and comfort of your animals. I do basset rescue for goodness sake and Volunterr at many animal organizations, please keep that in mind. He had a sarcoma removed and now must get some localized radiation at a very good oncologist in Windsor CT. Happy hounds is starting a new chapter. In home grooming and in home traing has been going great. I do also offer in home half hour arthritic massage for senior dogs and dogs with joint issues. It is very helpful for them. If you need someone to take care of your pup where they feel safe in their home and do everything so the dog is not afraid and feels spoiled, give me a call to set up an appointment
